Futures: A Science Fiction Series

Book Design - Cover + Series Identity

Series identity, cover design, and illustration. I created an identity that would connect seven standalone stories under one theme. I was inspired by the typography used for science fiction in the seventies, but also wanted the chapbooks to have a modern feel. The covers are all different pastel colors to give the series a lighthearted and approachable feel. I designed five of the covers, and each cover illustration is by a different artist. I also helped develop the project, from choosing the theme, reading through submissions, marketing, and publicity.
